Part of the Westin Peachtree Plazas Green
Council objective for 2009 was to get accredited
with a Green Seal Certification as well as
evaluating ways to reduce its environmental
impact in the community and ultimately our carbon
footprint. As a proud participant in the Atlanta
Downtown Zero Waste Zone, a variety of
environmentally sustainable practices such as
single stream recycling, composting of food
waste, and waste water management have been
implemented. The Westin Peachtree Plaza is
committed to educating our associates and
incorporating environmental awareness into the
everyday culture of the hotel.
