Goal To make the Pediatric Center at Glens
Falls Hospital more kid friendly by incorporating
sea themes into the Center.

Keep the Kids Kove theme Incorporate fresh
air into themes Use colors to make a welcoming
environment Keep kids and young family members
occupied with fun things to do Instead of
thinking about pain, think about fun -)

Corkboards in every room near patients bed for
well wishes Colored lights and sea shell
lamps in every room to bring pleasant color
and atmosphere throughout Center Computer
access for visitors and patients Picture board
next to nurses station to show kids that have
been helped by the Pediatric Center

Easy to reproduce personalized welcome banner
hung in patient rooms Table game in lobby for
visitor and patients Put balcony back into
operation with new awning for patients to get
fresh air Star-shaped pillows, blankets and
sheets to go with Kids Kove theme

and take-home clings given to patients that are
