What is Matru Pitru Din and why is it celebrated?

• Devotion to Parents is a core value thought to
  all BSK children.
  
• Pujya Gurudev has inspired celebration of this
  day instead of traditional Valentines day, with
  the purpose of instilling core Vedic values of
  devotion to parents in youth.
• Last year Matru Pitru divas was celebrate in the
  Ashram with lots of joy and enthusiasm.
  
• In the attached slides you will see the pictures
  from last years event.
