GEO FILTER TUBE EROSION BARRIER

• Cloud 9 Services, Inc. is proud to introduce Geo
  Filter Tube (GFT) Erosion Barrier. A most
  cost effective and environmentally responsible
  shore line erosion barrier, it has been developed
  after years of working with the more conventional
  systems.
• The GFT is constructed of a spun-bond polyester
  filter fabric. This fabric is sewn together to
  form a custom diameter tube. The tube is
  interconnected along the waters edge, then a
  small sand pump is used to fill the tube with the
  same sand and organic material that has been
  eroding or growing into the lake, pond or canal.
  The final result is a fully contained sand filter
  barrier that will stabilize the bank and filter
  rain and irrigation run off.
• During installation, the GFT process
  mechanically removes most of the undesirable
  vegetation and decaying organic matter from the
  bottom of the lake, pond or canal. After
  installation, water quality starts to improve
  allowing the desirable forms of aquatic plants to
  establish themselves. The GFT erosion barrier
  acts as a natural sand filter that reduces the
  amount of insecticide and fertilizer run off into
  the protected body of water. The result is a
  less desirable environment for unwanted forms of
  aquatic plant life and algae so less herbicide is
  required for weed control.
• Geo Filter Tube Erosion Barrier is easy and
  fast to install with little or no impact on the
  existing landscape or property use. No heavy
  trucks or equipment are required for
  installation. The GFT is esthetically pleasing
  in appearance and because of its porous the GFT
  fabric, lawn sod can be laid right to the waters

  installed on any shore line contour or stacked
  pyramid fashion to create a more substantial
  barrier to protect against soil erosion during
  heavy rains and once the GFT is sodded the
