• Ascend using the Look-Up--Hand-Up method.

• Always snorkel with a buddy.
• Take turns diving.
• Leave one buddy on the surface as the other dives.

• Equalize your ears early and often
• Dont wait for your ears to hurt to equalize!
• Yawn.
• Swallow
• Hold your nose and blow through it gently
• If you get cold,
• Surface immediately
• Dry off
• Keep warm to avoid hypothermia

• Rinsing in fresh water
• Drying it in the shade, out of the sun
• Because of the magnification of the water and
  mask lens
• Objects look 25 bigger
