necessary except where there is a variation in
LMT thickness and variation in strap thickness

Need to know strap thickness. LMT thickness is
1.78mm for 6 tape stack (this was measured
maximum of samples of reject production tapes
sent to UCL) A small radius on the inner corners
of the clamp recesses may help clamping.
