The Eulers formula is as simple as this
  • On any three-dimensional shape, the number of
    vertices minus the number of edges plus the
    number of faces will always equal two. AND I MEAN
    ALWAYS. Fascinating information, huh?

Lets try it.
  • Lets try it with a cube! In case you dont
    know, a cube has 8 vertices, twelve edges, and
    six faces. First, subtract the number of edges
    from the number of vertices (you will get a
    negative here.) Thats just 8 12 -4. Then,
    add the number of faces to that. Negative four
    plus six is two. See? The answer will always be
    two.
