    of physics, and it is applied to a wide range of
    topic, such as automotive engineering, rocket
    launches, and improvement in athletic
    performances (kinesiology)

  • If the acceleration and the velocity of an object
    have the same sign at a particular time, then the
    object is being pushed in the direction of the
    motion, and the object is speeding up.
  • If the acceleration and the velocity of an object
    have opposite signs at a particular time, then
    the object is being pushed in the opposite
    direction of its motion, and the object is
    slowing down.
