• Encoding DivX, XviD, h264, WMV9 (the horror)

• Takes hours (all automatic though)
• Youtube aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
• Sites that charge suck.
• Never pay for fansubs.
• Encoding well isnt easy, blocks, unsynched audio

• Rapidshare for subtitles, for raws occasionally.

• Hosting/FTP costs are fairly high, due to the
  bandwidth involved. Usually requires a dedicated
  server, or a friend in Sweden ?
• Binary/Usenet (newsgroups)
• A.scarywater.net are a torrent tracker for
  fansubbers
• Theres an initial seeding group for torrents

Cease Desist

• Subbers who continue with licensed shows get
  these.
• Viz sent CDs to all subbers of Death Note
• the person who reads this CD shall get legal
  battles wrought upon them
• Licensors are not all smiles und sunshine.
• Fansubs quality, with video, outstrips DVD
