TMC 2002 Tire Pressure Study

• Over 35,000 tires checked
• 90 of tire failures examined root cause was
  under inflation
• Only 43.6 of tires were within /- 5 psi of
  target air pressures
• 21.7 of all dual sets had pressure mismatch
  greater than 5 psi
• 21.6 of vehicles with one tire under inflated by
  20 psi or more
