2Things to Remember
- You must know your log in credentials to Bronco
Web. If you do not, please contact the help desk. - You can access Time and Labor from anywhere you
have an internet connection. - You can enter time by day, week or pay period.
Please check with your supervisor to determine
what the requirements of your department will be.
- If you are an active employee, you will have a
Time and Labor link in Bronco Web. - If you have multiple jobs and do not know when
and where you go into an overtime situation, the
Time Admin process will create overtime and apply
it to the appropriate department. - You will only see the TRCs (Time Reporting
Codes) that apply to you. - All classified employees will be required to
report time to be paid. There will be no more
exception hourly employees. - There is an exception to daily time reporting.
When the links are deactivated on Monday for Time
Reporters, they will not be able to report time
until the links are activated Wednesday.

4Click on the Employee Time Entry Link to access
your Time and Labor Time Sheet.
5The Time Sheet for the current pay period will be
displayed. If you need to enter time for a
previous pay period, click the link Previous
Time Period.
6Enter time by day and select the appropriate Time
Reporting Code from the drop down list.
Please note, only one TRC per line. Use the next
line for additional TRCs and if you need more
click the on the left side of the Timesheet.

8Once you have submitted your time, your job as a
time reporter is complete.
9If you have multiple jobs, you will see a
Timesheet for each job. These have a
Department number as the identifier. If you do
not know the department number associated with
each of your jobs, please contact your
supervisor. Enter time per job as normal.
10If you are paid from multiple account
codes/funding sources you will see an Override
Tab next to the Timesheet tab. This is ONLY if
you need to specify where the hours need to be
charged. If you have earnings distribution that
allocates your pay, you do NOT do anything.
11Click on the Overrides tab and an additional
field Combo Code will be available for use.
Enter your time as normal and enter the
appropriate combo code/finding source by entering
as many numbers as you know to narrow the search.
12Enter the funding source numbers. The more
numbers you enter, the more it will narrow the
search when you click the magnifying glass.
13Select the appropriate Combo Code and it will
populate the Timesheet with the information.
Repeat this process for each funding source and
TRC as required. Once complete, submit your time
as normal.
14Enter the time by day, TRC associated with each
line and the funding source and click the submit
button. Please note, I have entered HOA for
1/1/08 and 8 hours of MDA.
15The time entered includes a holiday. Here is the
warning that will appear. If you click OK the
time will be submitted.
Once you click submit, you will see this message.
16Time Approval Process
- A process will run nightly called Time
Administration, this process will create Payable - Time.
- As a manager/supervisor/alternate time approver
you will be responsible for - reviewing the time entered by the employees and
approving this time. - You will be able to make your own business
decision on the time entry and time approval
process and decide what works best for your
department or employees. - Comments entered in the Comments bubble become
a permanent record in Time and Labor. - The email notify has no traceability please be
cautious when using that function and ALWAYS CC
yourself - If you approve some of an employees time and then
make a change, when you go to the
Supervisor/Manager Time Approval link, you will
only see the time that remains to be approved.
Anything that has already been approved will not
be visible. - If an employee reports Jury Duty or Military
Leave, the department will need to maintain the
back up documents for audit purposes. - Is changing an employees time the right thing to
do? - There is a user ID associated with the actions in
Time and Labor - There is one level of approval. You can have
many reviewers, but only one approval.
17To approve time, log into Bronco Web and access
the Supervisor/Business Manager Time Approval
link
18When you click on the time approver link, you
will see a list of the people that you have
authority to approve. Select the employee you
want to review by clicking the box beside their
name.
19When you access your employee, you will see the
time that was entered by day. You can select a
day or days to approve or click the Select All
link to approve all. You will notice a tab
Chartfields, this tab will be there if the
employee has multiple Combo Codes/funding sources.
20If the employee does not have multiple funding
sources, there will be no Chartfields tab
21Click the Chartfields tab to review the time
entered by day and the funding source entered. If
the time or Combo Code is not correct, click
the box by the date that needs to be updated and
click the overview tab and then the Adjust
Reported Time link and make the required changes.

23This will take you to the employee Timesheet. The
date you selected to be adjusted will be
displayed in the date field of this page. Make
the necessary adjustment on the time sheet and
click submit.
24You can then select by day the days that you want
to approve and then click the Approve button.
25Once you adjust the time needed, you can click on
the Comments bubble to enter an explanation if
needed. If there have been comments entered, you
will see dots in the Comments bubble. Comments
are not required.
26You can also select all to access all of your
employees at the same time.
27If you select all, you will see a list of the
employees that you have authority to approve. You
can see under the Total Payable Hours link the
employees that have time to be approved. You can
select each employee to approve or select all and
approve.
28Once time has been reviewed and any necessary
adjustments have been made, click the Select
All link and Approve
29When you click the Approve link, you will see
this message.
If you click OK this message will be displayed
30Some additional information about Time and Labor
The 'Org Chart' icon that optionally appears in
the list of employees below indicates that other
employees report to this employee. You may
drill-down into the organization to select
employees who indirectly report to you by
clicking on these 'Org Chart' icons. You may also
navigate back up the organization after
drilling-down by clicking on the 'Drill-Up'
icon above the list of employees.

32Click the Lookup Recipient link.
33Enter the last name of the person you want to
send the notification to, first name will not
return anyone.
34Please note, in order to send an email, make
sure you choose a name with an email address
listed. You can add anyone to the To CC, BCC
lines you choose by using the Lookup Recipient
link
