Tigers are the largest wild cat.
They are reddish-orange with dark stripes.
They can weigh up to 800 pounds.
Tigers can grow to be six feet long with a three
foot long tail.

A tigers roar can be heard up to 2 miles away.

All wild tigers live in Asia.
Tigers live in thick forests, in areas with tall
grasses to hide in.
Most tigers live where it is warm, but the
Siberian Tiger lives where it can get very cold.

The Life of a Tiger
Tigers can live up to 10-15 years in the wild
and 20 years in captivity. They have 2 -
3 cubs at a time. The cubs will stay with the
mother until they are 2 years of age. Tiger cubs
are born with their eyes and ears closed
