Chronology

• Eternal Technology (shanghai) Co., Ltd. is a
  subsidiary 100 invested by Eternal Chemical Co.,
  Ltd. in mainland China through the third area
  investment. The parent company was founded in
  1964 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
• Eternal Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. is the
  RD center of Eternal Chemical Co., Ltd. in
  China, focusing on researching, developing and
  manufacturing industrial plastics, plastic alloys
  and high-tech chemicals used in electronic
  devices, adhesives and high-performance coatings.
  It also sells self-manufactured products,
  transfers research achievements and provides
  relevant technical services.

Chronology

• Eternal Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. was
  established on June 5, 1998, with a registered
  capital of 4.5 million US dollars. An additional
  investment of 2.1 million US dollars was infused
  in 2006. All registered capital is funded in
  cash. The total investment amount is 16.5 million
  US dollars.

Philosophy

• At the initial stage, the company purchased the
  Xingye Building (12 stories and 2295.77 square
  meters in total) in Tianlin Road, Xuhui District
  as the preparatory office. At the same time, the
  company acquired the land- usufruct rights of the
  lot at 1397 Yishan Road(18,000 square meters),
  Xuhui District to build its RD center.
• In mid-2005, the first RD Building was completed
  and put into use. In 2006, there were 39
  employees, among them, 26 were researchers,
  accounting for 67 of the total staff. Whereas 14
  of the research personnel own a MA or a PhD
  degree, representing 54 of the entire research
  team.
• In 2005, the income from technical service was
  7.35 million RMB, the income from technology
  research and development was 2.59 million RMB.
  The total profit was 3.09 million RMB In 2006,
  the income from RD was 14.15 million RMB and the
  profit of the year reached 5.5 million RMB.
