9International Growth of Sales

consistently growing. International sales
exceeded domestic sales in 2004. We expect
international Sales to exceed 80 of total
revenues by 2008
10Global Sales Strategy
- When going global, there are a number of ways to
increase sales overseas. Four methods we use
include - Establishing distributors within various markets
- Create marketing strategies specific to each
region - Development of joint venture relationships
- Development of government and NGO contracts
In June of 2005, Southwest Windpower expects to
open its first European warehouse in Germany.
11 Export-Import Bank Relationship
- Doing business internationally can be a risky
endeavor if you have little or no experience. One
of the greatest risks is open accounts as
collecting on a bad debt can be difficult at
best. SWWP found the Ex-Im Bank can minimize this
risk through the export credit insurance program.
The program offers unique benefits such as - Improving cash flow for our customers
- Increase the average size order
- No high interest expense for our customer
- Increased security to the collect-ability of our
accounts -
Southwest Windpower, Inc
12 Other Export-Import Bank Relationship
Opportunities
- Develop annual contracts with distributors
developing projects - Expand credit insurance program to new customers
- Financing contracts with multi-lateral government
organizations and NGOs
13Case Example
Windenergy Hungary Andrea Zavaczki 111 Budapest,
Zenta U. 0407Budapest Hungary
Andrea began her business in 1998 and is now the

approximately 40,000 per month.

become the largest distributor for small wind
turbines in the E.U. Spains various government
program which discount the cost of wind
turbines along with the Ex-Im Insurance program
help expand his business
15SWWP Distribution Model
- Establishing distribution networks within various
markets - Developing Strategic partners that can assist in
developing distribution markets for you - Creating a strong relationship with the
Export-Import Bank
The Export-Import Bank of the US offers a unique
opportunity to our customers to expand their
business which in turn expands our business which
then expands global business
