  • if a fellow christian sinscut them off.
  • Galatians 61-2
  • Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who
are spiritual should restore him gently. But
watch yourself, or you also may be tempted. Carry
each other's burdens, and in this way you will
    fulfill the law of Christ.

11
v. 6-8
  • Your boasting is not good. Don't you know that a
little yeast works through the whole batch of
dough? Get rid of the old yeast that you may be a
new batch without yeastas you really are. For
Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.
Therefore let us keep the Festival, not with the
old yeast, the yeast of malice and wickedness,
but with bread without yeast, the bread of
    sincerity and truth.

Leviticus 2221-22
  • When anyone brings from the herd or flock an
offering to the LORD it must be without defect
or blemish to be acceptable. Do not offer to the
LORD the blind, the injured or the maimed, or
anything with warts or festering or running
sores. Do not place any of these on the altar as
an offering made to the LORD by fire.

Hebrews 912-14
  • He did not enter by means of the blood of goats
and calves but he entered the Most Holy Place
once for all by his own blood, having obtained
eternal redemption. The blood of goats and bulls
and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who
are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that
they are outwardly clean. How much more, then,
will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal
Spirit offered himself unblemished to God,
cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to
death, so that we may serve the living God!

17
Hebrews 915
  • For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new
covenant, that those who are called may receive
the promised eternal inheritancenow that he has
died as a ransom to set them free from the sins
    committed under the first covenant.

Ephesians 5 25-30
  • Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved
the church and gave himself up for her to make
her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water
through the word, and to present her to himself
as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or
any other blemish, but holy and blameless. In
this same way, husbands ought to love their wives
as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves
himself. After all, no one ever hated his own
body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as
Christ does the church for we are members of his
    body.

Church without Stain
21
Romans 121-2
  • Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's
mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices,
holy and pleasing to Godthis is your spiritual
act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the
pattern of this world, but be transformed by the
renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to
test and approve what God's will ishis good,
    pleasing and perfect will.
