• WARN Wide Area Rapid Notification
• EAS Emergency Alert System
• Local media outlets
• Public Address Systems and door to door
  notification

Evacuation/Transportation

• Directed by law enforcement due to the need to
  maintain safe and open transportation routes.
• Transportation can be provided on an individual,
  group and specialized basis.
• We need to document all resources!

Sheltering

• Shelter locations are all pre-determined
• County staff and red cross volunteers are trained
  and prepared for shelter operations
• Even accessible shelters have limits
