6NHTSA-NETS Cooperative Agreement
- Determine the feasibility of implementing the
screening - and brief intervention (SBI) model in the
workplace setting - Year One
- Convened expert advisory panel.
- Conducted literature on SBI in medical and
non-medical settings. - Designed employer and vendor assessments to
determine current workplace practices to
recognize and manage alcohol use, abuse and
dependence. - Developed proposed SBI model based on two
approaches that emerged from the assessments. - Bioassay Testing EAP
