Great Beginnings

• I began life in the often envied neighborhood of
  Burnaby, B.C.
• I was early on slated for success due to my
  excellent lineage descended on my fathers side
  from a long line of Joes.
• A fortunate upbringing in the public school
  system set me on course for a lifetime of
  academic pursuit

The start of a scholarly existence

• Attended Simon Fraser University
• Graduated with a English BA and a Professional
  Development Certificate in Teaching

Adventurer

• 2,000 meters of the summit Explored Africa
  climbed to within of Mt. Kilimanjaro
• Toured Europe- enlightened by the real Europe
  as revealed on a 27 day Contiki tour
• Swam in reef shark infested waters off the coast
  of Australia
