Course Description and Objectives
  • Examines the theories and models in economics and
    finance and applies them to the Canadian
    financial industry. Specifically
  • To examine the role and functions of the main
    financial institutions and financial markets.
  • To identify and explain the financial instruments
    in the Canadian financial industry
  • Provide an introduction to monetary economics,
    international economics and international
    finance
