Before Arriving Things to Know
  • In an effort to be more green, our Housing
    Handbook and other relevant materials are now
    located on our website at housing.boisestate.edu
  • The Housing Agreement is for the full academic
    year
  • It does not include Winter Break or Summer
    Sessions
  • Petition Process
  • Room Assignments have been emailed and all
    roommate information will be made available
    starting July 1st.

Students Can Help Keep Their Halls and Selves
Safe By
  • Locking room/suite doors at all times.
  • Keeping room/suite windows locked.
  • Not propping doors. Ever.
  • Not allowing tailgating, even if the student
    looks familiar.
  • Reporting all emergencies to Campus Security (or
    911 when appropriate).

  • Using escorts from Campus Security.
  • Reporting any violations of the Code of Conduct
    or Housing policies to the RA and/or RD.
  • Talking to the RA and/or RD about any situations
    they are concerned about (when in doubt, go with
    the gut).

  • All Housing policies and general updates are
    available through the main Housing Website

  • There will be mandatory monthly floor meetings to
    aid in the flow of communication.
  • All halls have secured, proxy card access so
    doors are locked 24/7 for safety.

    maintaining safety and order.
