  • A cheaper customized version of the latest
    edition is also available at Primis Online (20).

Grading
  • Class Quizzes (35)
  • There will be a total of six non-cumulative
    quizzes.
  • The best five of these will count towards your
    final grade.
  • The dates for the quizzes are tentative.
  • Quizzes will be open notes.
  • Notes cannot be photocopied or typewritten. Class
    slides/notes allowed.
  • All quizzes will consist of 20-30 multiple choice
    questions.
  • Final Quiz (15)
  • One Cumulative quiz consisting of 15-20 questions
  • Simulation (35)
  • A Session will be held on this.
  • Attendance Class Responses (5 each based on
    Clicker Responses).
  • Please read page 4 of the syllabus before you
    register.
  • Career Coaching (5)
  • Details are given on page 4

Extra Credit
  • There will opportunities for extra credit
  • 2 or 3 experiments totaling a maximum of 5 Points
    for a Survey from a Professor/Researcher from the
    OleMiss School of Business, Department of

  • Simulation
  • You will be assigned to groups of 9 10
    students.
  • You should meet during the allocated class time
    unless everyone in the group finds a convenient
    alternative. I will be available for any
    questions that might arise.
  • On the final day of the simulation, a report on
    all your activities (a format will be handed out
    in class) has to be submitted to the me.
  • Twice during the semester, you will get a peer
    evaluation sheet. If your group-mates give you a
    bad score, your score for the entire simulation
    WILL BE scaled down proportionately. I will
    enforce the policy and no changes will be made to
    peer evaluation under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

  • The breakup of the simulation is as follows
  • Final Report 10
  • Finishing Rank 25
  • Your decisions are due on the day of the
    MarkStrat Sessions by 1200 pm (Thursdays).
  • If you miss the submission deadline you are OUT
    OF THE SIMULATION (You get a zero on your
    Finishing Ranks section)
