4Here is a little bit about me...
- Well I was born and raised in Hawaii, I have a
mother and a father, a half sister which I
consider my FULL sister since I knew her all my
life, and I also have a step father and a step
mother, oh and I also have a step sister (my step
mothers daughter). I switch houses during the
week, unfortunately I spend less time at my moms
house than my dads because it is sooooo much fun
at my moms house. I am 14 years old and a
Freshman in Moanalua High School, I am in a
special program called MeneMac. I have one best
friend a few good friends. I have two hobbies or
sports, but I do not really consider them sports.
5Here are some values of my culture
- My family does not really have any different
cultures, we are pretty mediocre. My moms side
is pretty different from my dads because she
believes in Buddha and my dad believes in God. I
believe in Christianity even though my mother
wish for me to believe her beliefs. When my
mother and I go to my grandmas (on my mothers
side) I respect my mothers wishes by praying to
Buddha or making her think I do.
6Some more values of my culture
- Even though my mother believes in Buddhism she
likes Christmas too. I think she likes it
because she gets gifts. Like how I said earlier
my culture is like most others. We have
thanksgiving dinners, celebrate Christmas, watch
fireworks on 4th of July and New Years day, and
other celebrations.
7Mothers family history
In December 23, 1965 my mother was born.
February in 1982my mom came to the U.S. from
Vietnam. In October 7, 1984 Vi was born. In
April 24,1991 I was born.

9Aliens are invading our beaches!
There are really aliens that have already invaded
our beaches. The Gracilaria Salicornia, a
non-native seaweed, is choking out our native
reef in Waikiki.
These are not real ?
- A solution that had came up is to take out the
seaweed by labor, but if we do that then where
are we going to put it?
10Aliens are invading our beaches!
- The solution of this project is to take out the
Gracilaria Salicornia by manual labor and send
the Gracilaria Salicornia to taro farms for
fertilizer and a green waste firm that makes it
into Menehune Magic.
11This is how you get to where I am at
- If you live in any where that is not in Honolulu
then you will have to a catch a plane to Honolulu
airport, which is 2118'32" North, 15749'34"
West (21.308950, -157.826182). - Ill probably be at Salt Lake.
12This is how you get to where I am at
- The Hawaiian Islands are east of Taiwan and west
of Mexico and south of Alaska. - Salt Lake (the place I will most likely be) is
close to the Aliamanu Schools and is up the hill
from 99 Ranch (its by Bobs Big Boy) and my house
is across the park on Ala Ilima street.
13What is Hawaii like?
- Hawaii is pretty cool because like 99.99 of the
people who live here are nice and then there is
that .01 which is the weird people that talk to
themselves. The weather is so great it is almost
perfect, it hardly pours rain and not like
theres any hurricanes.
14Some more stuff on what Hawaii is like
- The architecture in Hawaii is pretty nice theres
some old buildings like the Aloha Tower and Queen
Liliuokalani Palace. Then theres the more new
and advance architecture like the Hawaii
Convention Center or Hawaiian waters!
15We are pretty advanced in technology.
- Hawaii is pretty advanced, we are most likely as
advanced as the rest of the U.S.. We dont live
in little grass shacks or anything like that. We
live in little houses or apartment buildings that
go really high. As much as we need to we dont
really walk around much, we rather drive!
16Some more examples on how advanced we are.
- Like how I said earlier Hawaii is pretty advance
as U.S.. We have some really cool stuff like the
iPod Nano, Play Station Portable, portable DVD
players, and much more! Our computers are
advance as the ones in the main land and the same
with our televisions.
17This is what my life is like
- As you can tell I have many family members and
unique cultures and that there are some
environmental problems in paradise. I have also
showed you that it is also a little difficult to
get my house, but I hope I was descriptive about
my houses surroundings. I have also described
what Hawaii's people and buildings are like. I
have also showed how advance we are in technology
and how far Hawaiians advanced in architecture.
