  interoperable components and can be easily
  integrated with other technologies.

  management of static and mixed-mode content.

Benefits Realised

• Utilising Visual Studio .NET (2005 2003) and
  SQL Server 2005 Integration Services resulted in
  75 less development effort than original system.
• Utilising Service Oriented Architecture
  principles and practices provided AMP with a
  suitable platform for leveraging future
  developments while reducing overall complexity.
• VS.NET 2005 enabled the adoption of Intergens
  best practice reference architecture and code
  generation techniques.
• Use of Integration Services greatly reduced the
  complexity of the mainframe data import process,
  which resulted in increased maintainability, with
  dramatically increased performance (processing
  time was reduced from approximately 45 minutes
  down to 5 minutes).
