Introduction

• There is the need for more and more formal
  ontology definitions in standard languages such
  as
• Web Ontology Language (OWL)
• Numerous projects predate OWL
• One such project is bibTeX
• method of marking up bibliographic data
• for use in LaTeX documents
• for generic bibliographic storage
