  and insurance of accurate and proper
  implementation and provision of health care
  services in the kingdom

• Saudi government is highly committed for
  supporting and maintaining adequate health care
  for all citizens , the annual budget for MOH
  reached 6.5 of total annual government budget
  in last years
• Private sectors also participate in funding
  health services

• Control of many communicable diseases such as
  malaria , poliomyelitis , leishmaniasis
• Implementation of efficient primary health care
  services, reaching high immunizations coverage
  rate for childhood communicable diseases (range
  92-94 ).

• Number of hospitals reached 325

Program function

• AIDS control program is responsible for
  defining and implementation of strategies for
  preventive and treatment of HIV/AIDS/STDs
  activities in KSA , it is supported by different
  committees of experts in related aspects , these
  program activities are integrated in existing
  national health system .
