• There has been some confusion around deadlines
• for migration to V6 with inconsistent messages in
  
• DSCNs and guidance on the SUS website.
• Update
• SUS will continue to process version 5 messages
• until R4 transition on the 29th November 2008!

• been investigating the issue and will be

• affected to ensure that 2008/09 data is
• correct.

• Since migration to CDS version 5 all
• organisations with Adult Critical Care services
• should be submitting CCMDS.
• We are working with the DH PbR team to
• ensure appropriate data coverage and intend to
• extend this work for Paediatric and Neonatal
• in 2009.

HRG4

• In 2009/10 HRG4 will not flow as part of a CDS
  Message.
• Grouping will be done centrally on SUS for PbR
  purposes.
• Policy is driving once only grouping through SUS
  as the definitive source of data for PbR!
