Teaching Primary Care Trusts are five years old

• Established in 2001 with 25m start up funds over
  three years
• Four waves 2001 three test-bed tPCTs, eight
  more from April 2002, 11 more 2003, another nine
  in April 2004 total 31.
• Northern network established January 2003 (1st
  meeting in Blackburn)
• National conferences in 2002, 2003 and 2004
• Meeting with John Hutton February 2005
• Meeting Edna Robinson - Chair of NHS Networks
  June 2005
• National tPCT meeting with the NHS Institute
  April 2006
