7Your Assignment
- Go out and take 4 pictures (on your own disk
provided to you) - You can make the pictures tell a story like how
to use the copier, water fountain, make coffee,
etc. or just take pictures - Return in 15 minutes after break and picture
taking

- In bottom left of your screen, go to start
- Click on programs
- Move the mouse right to click on Microsoft
Tools - Click on the last item Microsoft Photo Editor
9Viewing and Editing your Pictures
- Insert your floppy disk in Drive A
- Either click on File Open or click on the
yellow open file folder on the tool bar - You will probably have to select Drive A in the
open file menu (top box with down arrow) - Double click on one of the files listed and your
picture will open
10Common Editing Items
- Crop Tool Bar box click and drag cursor to
draw a box around what you want to keep - Select Image on the menu bar and choose crop
then OK - To brighten or sharpen image choose Image on
the menu bar notice the balance selection. You
can also resize or rotate the image here.
11What can I do with the Pictures?
- Obviously print them color printer. Be sure to
make them fit the page or you will get a
thumbnail picture - E-mail them to friends
- Create a Powerpoint presentation with captions on
pictures, etc. - Put them in Word Documents
- Burn them on a CD.
- Make a Screen saver out of them
