2Curriculum mapping is tool for collecting data
on what is actually being taught in the
classroom, anchored in real time. The map shows
the time actually spent teaching a particular
subject.

district, and region

- When creating Map Activities, teachers input the
following - Course name/title
- Applicable grade levels
- Start/end dates
- Map sharing level
- Applicable academic
- standards

- This form creates the structure of the map. Its
a template that creates the structure for the
monthly maps. - Enter Course/Area
- Enter applicable grade levels
- Start/End Date
- Map sharing level
- Applicable state standards
- When complete, hit the Add button to create the
Curriculum Map Activity.

a different level of sharing for the Map
Activities, including - Anonymous share
- Name disclosed
- No share
- Archive

35To look at the curriculum horizontally for
several subjects within a grade, enter criteria
(IU 20, school district, building and grade
level).

36Then scroll down to the bottom of the screen and
click Search.
37Select the subject area maps you would like to
view by checking the box to the left of the
appropriate monthly map.
38Click the View Selected button at the bottom of
the screen to generate the report.
39The maps you have selected will be displayed in a
matrix format, side-by-side.
