Course Aims Target Audience

• To extol the benefits of work
• experience and promote enhanced
• job-search skills.

• Level III Molecular Cell
• Biology students wishing
• to complete an industrial placement year.

• All other penultimate year
• Molecular Cell Biology students -
• as part of career planning.

Teaching Programme

• Consists of twelve, one-hour per week sessions.

• Sessions explore CV preparation, writing covering
  letters,
• completing application forms, skill
  identification and
• good interview technique.

• During each session current placements
  opportunities are promoted and application advice
  is provided.

• The course assists students to submit high
  quality placement applications to maximise
  their chances of success.
