Cheating, Collusion, Plagiarism
  • Copying, communicating, giving or seeking aid,
    buying/using answer keys, during exams/quizzes
    is cheating.
  • Sharing your code/assignment answers with another
    student, even temporarily, is collusion.
  • Copying code/assignment answers (e.g., from a
    tutor, internet, another student or from a
    previous semester) without appropriate
    acknowledgement is plagiarism.
  • IN ALL, The assignments/quizzes/exams turned-in
    to the instructor for credit by a student must be
    from the student, individually.
  • If your name is there, make sure it is your own
    answers!!

Consequences
  • Students who violate University rules on
    scholastic dishonesty are subject to disciplinary
    penalties, including the possibility of failure
    in the course and dismissal from the University.
  • Since dishonesty harms the individual, all
    students, and the integrity of the University,
    policies on scholastic dishonesty will be
    strictly enforced.

How to do well on the course
  • Attend all the lectures and labs
  • Read before the lecture (pop quizzes)
  • For understanding the materials more clearly
  • For asking questions in the class and making the
    class interactive (graded)
  • No question is dumb or trivial

  • Solve all exercises yourself if required meet me
    during office hours, dont hesitate!
