Press the second button from the left Enter
data requested for name - etc Type or use
graffiti
10Entering info/data
You may select the type writer or enter data
using graffiti Select the ABC for typewriter
Select the 123 to type for number and symbol
entry For graffiti, tap the data line and
begin writing on the palette

Tap done when data entry is completed

Tap record to beam, tap appropriate beam
command When beam status dialog box appears,
point the IR port on the top of your PDA at the
IR port of the receiving PDA

1. Receiving PDA shows status of transfer 2.
Wait for Beam status dialog box to indicate
transfer is done 3. Accept or reject transfer

1. Keep PDAs between 4 inches and 39 inches
apart 2. Path must be clear of obstacles 3.
Some applications have a lock and cannot be
beamed

Press first button on bottom left
19Use the date bar at the top or the calendar
options at the bottom
Tap your stylus on the day of the week Advance
weeks by using the left and right arrows Select
the weekly, monthly or go to options at the
bottom

Enter the appointment using the typewriter or
graffiti Select details to specify times, set
an alarm, mark private or repeat tasks

From Giraffe tap on Unfiled 7. From the drop
down menu, tap on the category you desire
