To use MyAccountingLab, you must first register
online

• You will need
• A Valid Email Address
• A Student Access (bought at the bookstore or you
  can purchase access online)

Navigate to www.myaccountinglab.com
New Students should click the Student button
to create an account

• Chose the text book you will be using in class
• Chose the Access Kit
• If you do not have a Kit, click on Purchase
  Access to purchase with a credit card
• Click Proceed to Registration

• New users can click NO and create a new account.
• Previous users can use their login and password
  from another Pearson Education account to keep
  login information to a minimum

Please read and accept the License Agreement and
Privacy Policy

If you have an account with Pearson, click YES
and your information will be carried over from
that account. If not, Click No and you will be
asked to fill in user information.
Enter your student access code

For new accounts, you will need to create a Login
Name and Password. Pearson recommends using your
email address as your Login name.

Confirm your personal information and select your
School information from the drop down menus

Print this page for your records
Click Log In Now to log in with your new account
information

Log In using the Login Name and Password you just
created

Enter myaccountinglab

• Enroll in your instructors course
• Choose Your
• School
• Instructor
• Course

Click the Run installation wizard button to
install the plug-ins and players required for
your course
Click Next to start the install of
myaccountinglab player
Click Next to continue the wizard until all
components are installed

• Click on Do Homework to see assigned homework.
• You can show all, just homework, quizzes tests
  or view by chapters by using the buttons.

Click on individual questions to complete
homework

Select your answer. Click Check Answer to see if
you are correct, Clear Answer to start again or
Submit Work to submit your answer

Incorrect answers will be displayed with the
correct answer in the comments

Test questions can ask you to fill in numbers and
equations to make the displayed ledger sheet
correct

The Chapter Resources button gives you access to
many multimedia resources including video
training, PowerPoint demonstrations and Demo Docs
to help you walk through the exercises

The study plan allows you to take a pre-test to
see where you need to concentrate your study
time. Use the listed resources as study documents
then return for a post-test to prove mastery.

The My Courses button will allow you to switch
between courses you are enrolled in
