9Application Approval
- Online Application has allowed for quicker
approval of applications. - Application is not given final approval status
until it has been signed by the superintendent.
- Notifications are sent to email address provided
when submitted.
10Common Errors
- Administrative Expenses and Professional
Development off the top must equal what is on the
set-aside page - Eligible School Summary and School budgets must
match - Extended time teachers Enter the position one
time and estimate the number of staff in the
description - Stipend not FTE
11Amendments
- November 1st through April 1st
- Click the Amend button under Begin Amendment
- Fill out and attach the amendment worksheet to
the summary page of the application.

13Expenditure Report
- The final expenditure report must be completed
prior to submitting an amendment. - Before beginning the amendment the Click Here
button on the summary page needs to be pressed to
pull in the carryover from the expenditure report.
14Cash Request Tips
- Do not change the amounts requested for months of
funding you have already received. - It takes our office, on average, thirty days for
the amendment process to be completed. If you
file your amendment in December the first change
should show in January.
15Distributions
- If a district should need more or less monies in
any given month, they should email the request to
Linda Ricketts, lrickett_at_doe.in.gov, by the 15th
of the month before they would like the change. - Example If a district needs more money for
January 2009, The request should be made by
December 15, 2008.
