Some differences between lifting platforms and
conventional passenger lifts.

• The lifting platform does not travel
  automatically.
• Travel speed is limited to 0,15 m/s.
• Not suitable to use in buildings with
  heavy passenger traffic.
• Less rated load weight when compared to
  conventional passenger lifts.
• Lifting platforms have normally not a fully
  enclosed platform carrier whilst conventional
  passenger lifts must have a fully enclosed car.
