MODU Code Background

• Revision authorized MSC 79 (2004)
• MSC 79/22/3 (Secretariat) informs Committee of
  ICAO amendments on helideck lighting
• MSC 79/22/9 (IADC) informs Committee ICAO
  considering further amendments affecting
  helidecks
• The Committee agreed to include in the work
  programme of the DE Sub-Committee and the
  provisional agenda for DE 49, and item on
  Amendments to the MODU Code, with a target
  completion date of 2008.
