  • Despite its geographical location Hungary
    still belongs to the countries with low rates of
    HIV infection

HIV INFECTION IN HUNGARY drug useres share
needles, gay men have unsafe sex, but the
prevalence is still very low
  • 1104 HIV infected people were reported between
    1985 and the end of 2003
  • 844 males
  • 146 females
  • 110 anonymous
