• 2001-Graduated from Northeastern Illinois
  University with a Bachelors of Art degree in
  English and Secondary Education
• 2001-present Full-time teacher at Schaumburg
  High School, currently teaching English 102
  (Freshman English), English 208 (Sophomore
  Accelerated English), and English 405 (Expository
  Composition)
• Finished 2nd year of the Masters in Writing
  program at DePaul University

• Prepare students with essential skills for life
  beyond school where they will need to communicate

Final Reflections

• As I further my experience in teaching, I gain
  better awareness of myself as a teacher. How can
  I be more inviting? more challenging? more
  humorous? more enthusiastic? These are all areas
  which I find myself tuning and improving every
  year.
• Students are all different colors, shades,
  tints, and hues of paint the classroom is a
  canvas, and I am the paintbrush. The masterpiece
  is the art that is created when the teacher,
  student, and classroom come together in
