  • 1 in 150 children is diagnosed with autism
  • Boys are four times more likely than girls to
    have autism
  • 1 in 94 boys is on the autism spectrum
  • 67 children are diagnosed per day a new case is
    diagnosed almost every 20 minutes
  • There is no medical detection or cure for autism

People with Autism
  • Have difficulty communicating with relating to
    others
  • symptoms can range from very mild to severe
  • May be unable to sustain eye contact
  • Have trouble reading social cues
  • Are prone to routines and repetitive behaviors
  • Arranging objects
  • Flapping hands or repeating phrases
  • May be highly sensitive to sensory stimulation,
    such as sound, smell, and touch

Teenagers Autism
  • Adolescence is a challenging time for young
    people, but it's even trickier for teenagers with
    autism.

    with the world at large is typically overwhelming

    peers is painful
