  • He was a physician, known to Paul (2 Tm 411) and
    the early church.
  • Also wrote Acts. The book of Acts contains
    sections were Luke is part of the narrative
    (1610-17 205-2118 271-2816).
  • Evidence from the Early Church fathers attributes
    the gospel to Luke.
