NAME OF HEALTH ISSUE 1The Thyroid

• The Thyroid is the biggest endocrine gland in our
  organism whose function is influenced by
  different factors.
• Its volume can be changed by malnutrition,
  temperature, stress.
• The volume can grow in hyper (excess) and hypo
  (deficiency) and in our region, also known as a
  double chinned area a simple double chin can
  appear which represents just the growing in
  volume of the gland without its function being
  affected.
• The treatment to this affection is realized by
  administrating iodine or by consuming iodine
  salt.
• A thyroid that is not working properly might
  cause changes in our organism because the
  endocrine hormones will play with our
  metabolism.

NAME OF HEALTH ISSUE 2The heart failure

• The heart failure is a medical syndrome witch
  focuses on the disability of the heart to assure
  a normal quantity of blood witch the organism
  needs. The function of the heart pump is made by
  the ventricle. There are some causes that make
  this syndrome to appear
• coronary artery disease
• valvular heart disease
• cardiac dysrhythmia
• systemic arterial hypertension

NAME OF HEALTH ISSUE 3The Paradontopathy

• Smoking. Smoking is one of the most important
  risk factors associated with parodontopathy
  evolution. Also, smoking reduces the treatment
  chances.
• General diseases can influence the affected area
  of the sustaining part of the teeth in many ways
• - encourages the installation and the initiation
  of the periodontal disease
• - increases the evolution rhythm of the disease
• - delays, burdens or compromises the treatment
  efficiency
• Stress. Researches have shown that stress burdens
  the organism fight with infections and with the
  periodontal disease.
• Medicines. Some medicines, such as
  anti-depressives and some heart medicines may
  affect the oral health, decreasing the saliva
  flux (saliva has a protective effect on the teeth
  and gum).

• People should be informed via
• - leaflets,
• - booklets,
• - posters
• - flyers
• - mass media radio, TV, written press, web
• - informational campaigns in schools (classes
  with the forth master)
• - conferences on specific themes
• about the necessity of
• periodical medical visits
• suitable life diet, balanced feeding
• eating more iodine (in food)
• avoiding extreme temperatures
• reducing stress
• eliminate smoking
