  • CCC Confer- hosted by CCC Confer Client Services
    - is an exciting new service designed to create
    an efficient time and money-saving method to hold
    meetings throughout the California Community
    colleges system.
  • Combination Live Online Training provides a
    professional development training opportunity for
    faculty, staff and administrators from across the
    CCC system.
  • CCC Confer Meetings are as simple as using a
    telephone and a computer. It's easy, it's free,
    and it works!
  • You will be trained to use CCC Confer as a
    Participant and Presenter. Learn from your desk
    using your computer and a telephone as you are
    guided through an interactive training session

CSU OPTIONS, Two-way Videoconferencing
  • The CSU system can link
  • all 23 campuses together for a single meeting
  • a combination of CSUs and community colleges
  • Scheduling is best on Friday afternoons or
    off-peak academic days
  • CSU two-way video rooms usually rent for 150 per
    hour per site.
  • A three hour videoconference with 23 sites would
    cost 10350 plus coordination and overhead costs.

  • Teleconferencing can be a very cost effective way
    to disseminate information to geographically
    dispersed audiences.
  • Satellite signals can be sent to
  • county school offices.

    over 100 specialty programs including in-service
    training for teachers, health-care providers and
    hazardous waste professionals.
  • A satellite transmission could reach hundreds of
    sites in California.
  • The program could be recorded and the videotapes
    distributed to appropriate agencies.
