• Welcome each other to this day.
• Discuss changes in your team in members or coach.
  Quickly review the strengths each of you bring to
  the team in reading, behavior or other unique
  skills each has such as the person who loves to
  fill out forms. Review your meeting schedule for
  the year and if you have published that for all
  members.
• Discuss changes in your school this year new
  staff, new curriculum, texts, and/or training in
  reading or behavior, and or physical changes in
  the building? How will these changes affect
  MiBLSi activities at your school? If you have new
  staff how have you brought them up to speed
  with MiBLSi?
• Discuss how you have you informed your parents
  and community of your MiBLSi activities for the
  year.

  model in elementary schools to help students
  become better readers with social skills
  necessary for success.

Goals of MiBLSi

• Students will increase reading performance based
  on formative, cumulative, and high stakes
  assessments.
• Students will reduce behavior problems.
• Staff will have accurate knowledge of student
  performance in behavior and reading at all times.
• Staff will use student performance information in
  behavior and reading to develop and implement
  interventions.
