Some definitions

• Project
• A management environment that is created for the
  purpose of delivering one or more business
  products deliverables according to a specified
  business case.
• A temporary organisation that is needed to
  produce a unique and predefined outcome or a
  result at a pre-specified time using
  predetermined resources.
• Characteristics include finite defined life
  cycle, defined measurable business case,
  corresponding set of activities to achieve the
  business products, defined amount of resources,
  organisation structure with defined
  responsibilities to manage the product
