8Resilience options
- 2 Resilience options available for BTnet Premium
- Failover
- A primary circuit is used to send/receive traffic
under normal circumstances, in the event of the
primary circuit failing service automatically
switches over to the dormant secondary circuit - Load balancing
- 2 active circuits are configured such that in the
event of a failure on one of the links, the other
link will carry the additional traffic (within
the configured bandwidth constraint) - Different access classes provide different levels
of diversity - Separate Points of Presence can be offered
9BTnet Service Level Agreement (SLA)
- Installation
- BT agrees to install your BTnet service by a
Contractual Delivery Date (CDD) and if we fail to
meet your delivery date, we will apply a credit
equivalent to 50 of the standard connection
charge for the BTnet service. - Network Latency
- BT provide the BTnet service with a Latency
Agreement (round trip delay). If BT fail to meet
it, they will apply a reduction to rental charges
for the Service - Service Availability
- BT aims to provide the BTnet service with a
target of 100 availability at all times. BT will
apply a reduction to rental charges for the BTnet
service if there is an outage

- Two discount schemes are available for BTnet
- Term discounts - Sign up to a BTnet contract for
3 years or more - the connection fee is waived
and discounts are applied on a quarterly basis

more BTnet circuits with a minimum spend of 100K
per annum
