he founded the Islamic religion. - Muhammad supposedly ascended to heaven instead of
dying in Jerusalem. The Dome of the Rock marks
the point were he accended towards heaven.

16- When a baby is born rites from the koran are
recited and a small party takes place. - In Muslim marriages the union occurs between the
two families more than of the two individuals. - Muslim funerals are austere in comparison with
Christian one. There are almost no public and
there are no coffins.

17- There are no furniture or altars on mosques.
- Instead there is just a special panel that points
towards Mecca. - There is no clergy either, Muslims prey directly
to god. - The leader of any mosque is called an imam for
the Sunni Muslims they play only a supporting
role while they are indispensable to the Shia.
