  • Submarine DMP, SRAs, EROs all require SHT Tile
    Removal
  • Hundreds of tile removed in a single event
  • REPAIR COSTS 36 and 41 separate grinding
    operations were required recently to repair SHT
    removed areas on two submarines In over 3 years,
    there were 106 documented grinding jobs on 7
    availabilities at a US Navy shipyard regarding
    Tile Removal each costing gt 6,500/repair (TOTAL
    689K)
