Scorecard Roles

• User
• Takes Survey
• Views Published Results on campus and UC-wide for
  authorized vendors
• Manages user profile
• Name, password, e-mail address

• Decides on start/end date of survey
• Individual members assign campus admins on each

• Oversees dissemination of results

Vendor Scorecard Notes

• User logins will be e-mail addresses
• Initial passwords will be assigned via e-mail to
  users with change request on 1st login
• Users able to see their votes before submittal
  but unable to change/vote again for same survey
• User communication via e-mail

Vendor Scorecard New Aspects?

• We assign a list of vendor reps per campus to
  allow us to correlate results with reps?
• Keep a running list of archived questions in case
  we change the questions
• We can run multiple surveys concurrently
• No local to campus surveys. Right?

Vendor Scorecard tech details

• Will run from www.nacs.uci.edu web server (Redhat
  Linux, LAMP, etc.)
• Coded in either PHP and/or Ruby
• Web tool schematic InternalDiagram.pdf

Progress Finally?

• Expect prototype web site within two weeks
• Expect near-complete version before next telecon
• Need names and e-mail for campus admins now
• Do we have a new survey/vendor to start with this
  tool?
