TECHNOLOGY
AV iBook and 1 cart to hold iBook and projector
(1) Apple iBook 1,923.00
Metal AV cart w/wheels
99.00 Location To be checked out to classrooms
as needed. Rationale None of our 3 clamshell
iBooks have connection capabilities that allow
them to be used with our inFocus projector. We
have the projector, but it is very difficult to
connect it to each teacher's individual computer
for lesson display purposes. We should have a
cart with AV iBook and connected inFocus
projector that can be checked out to teachers as
needed. Color Inkjet Printer (1)
HP Business Inkjet printer 2250 tn
950.00 Location Lab/Library Rationale
The HP Deskjet printers in our classrooms work
very slowly over our network and are not high
quality. We would like to have one high-quality
color printer on our network for use by
classrooms and computer lab. High Speed/High
Quality Scanner Multimedia Projects (1)
HP Scanjet 7400c
499.00 Location Computer Lab Rationale
Fiske has several inexpensive and very slow
scanners. They are generally adequate for
classroom use, but we need a high speed scanner
for large projects (e.g., 5th grade iMovie, 3rd
grade Timeliner, 2nd grade Hyperstudio)
when each student in a classroom scans 3 or more
photos.

TECHNOLOGY (cont.)
TView Silver boxes for TV Display in Classrooms

K-5 Rationale Give teachers the capability of
using TV for computer display as needed. Several
teachers who have TV's in their rooms use TView
Silver boxes without having to connect and
reconnect wires. We are currently in need
of hookups in 3 classrooms. Microsoft Word
Computer Program for Macintosh (2)
Microsoft Word 2001 for Macintosh
137.50 ea Location Lab/Library Rationale
Microsoft Word should be available in the
building to enable teachers to open email
attachments sent from parents and others in
Microsoft Word format. Powercord for Clamshell
iBook (1) Apple iBook Power Cord
69.00 Location Available for loan to
classrooms Rationale We are missing one hockey
puck power cord for one of our clamshell 9.04
iBooks. Camera Bag for Digital Movie Camera (1)
Canon
Camera/Accessory Bag
29.95 Location Available for loan to
classrooms Rationale We need a case to hold
our new Canon digital movie camera, cords,
connectors, batteries and tapes.
