Title: Magical maths
1Magical maths Storyboard
Team N Emma Gill, Mark Davies, Mike Molloy and
Moneel Trivedi
2Introduction
- The objective of the Magical Maths website is to
provide a multimedia teaching and learning tool
to teach children between the ages of 4 and 7 Key
Stage 1 Maths. - The website is designed with a magical theme in
mind but it is intended to be subtle so that it
will not detract the students from their purpose. - There are two key areas, one for students and one
for teachers. The teachers area contains site
information and background and the students area
contains the learning material.
3The Storyboard
- This storyboard is provided to give an overview
of the teams initial designs and web structure. - A selection of the key pages are presented with
notes on the rational behind the design. - Read on to find out more about the design and
development of the Magical Maths Teaching and
Learning Prototype
4The Design Stage
Initial web designs focused on designing a style
for presenting the content in a consistent way
that could be easily navigated by a young
audience who may have limited experience with web
pages.
The navigation menu will be on the left hand side
as this is common to web sites and will therefore
help users find their way around

An interactive foldout menu reduces the amount
of clicks required to get to page required
An email link is available for users to contact
the webmaster and provide feedback
